Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 10, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and your purchase or use of products, software, downloads, hardware, tools, services, documentation, and related materials offered by DST – DeutschTuning Softwares & Technologies, including its affiliates, owners, operators, successors, and assigns (“DST,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting this website, creating an account, placing an order, downloading software, purchasing a license, or using any DST product or service, you agree to these Terms. Do not use the website or purchase our products if you do not agree to them.

1. Eligibility and Authorized Use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase from or use this website.

Our products are intended primarily for qualified automotive technicians, repair facilities, diagnostic professionals, vehicle programmers, tuners, and knowledgeable users. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the training, equipment, authorization, and technical ability necessary to use any product safely and lawfully.

2. Products and Services

DST may offer:

  • Automotive diagnostic software
  • Downloadable files and installation packages
  • Software licenses and activation services
  • ECU and module programming tools
  • Diagnostic interfaces and hardware
  • OBD, bench, boot, Ethernet, CAN, and related cables
  • Adapters, breakout harnesses, and accessories
  • Technical documentation and installation guides
  • Remote support and configuration assistance
  • Dealer, workshop, and wholesale services

Product availability, compatibility, pricing, specifications, features, and descriptions may change without notice.

3. Product Information and Compatibility

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions and compatibility information. Vehicle compatibility can vary based on model year, chassis, engine, transmission, control-module version, software level, regional specification, prior modifications, and installed hardware.

A reference to a vehicle make, model, ECU, module, operating system, cable type, or diagnostic platform does not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle or configuration within that category.

Before ordering or using a product, you are responsible for confirming:

  • Vehicle year, make, model, chassis, and engine
  • ECU or module manufacturer and part number
  • Software and firmware versions
  • Computer and operating-system requirements
  • Required interface, cable, adapter, or power supply
  • Whether the intended procedure is supported
  • Whether you have legal authority to access or modify the vehicle

Contact DST before purchase when compatibility is uncertain.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse, limit, cancel, or hold an order for reasons including:

  • Product unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing or listing information
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
  • Export or legal restrictions
  • Payment verification issues
  • Suspected misuse of software or equipment
  • Violation of these Terms

If we cancel a paid order before fulfillment, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-processing limitations.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the total displayed at checkout, including applicable taxes, shipping, duties, and fees.

Typographical, technical, or pricing errors may be corrected at any time, including after an order is submitted. We will contact you before fulfillment if a correction materially changes your order.

6. Software Licenses

Unless expressly stated otherwise, software is licensed and not sold.

Purchasing software grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it according to the applicable product description, license duration, device limit, user limit, and activation requirements.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share software
  • Share activation credentials, license keys, login details, or protected download links
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, modify, or bypass licensing controls
  • Remove copyright, trademark, ownership, or security notices
  • Use software on more computers or devices than permitted
  • Upload DST software or documentation to public or private file-sharing systems
  • Use the software to violate vehicle-security systems, laws, warranties, or third-party rights
  • Represent DST software as your own product

Unauthorized use may result in immediate license termination without refund and may expose the user to legal action.

7. Digital Products and Downloads

Digital products may include software, files, activation codes, documentation, calibration data, updates, or access credentials.

Because digital goods can be accessed, copied, downloaded, or activated immediately, digital purchases may become non-refundable once:

  • A file has been delivered or downloaded
  • A license has been issued or activated
  • Login credentials have been provided
  • Installation or remote support has begun
  • A custom configuration has been prepared
  • A protected resource has been accessed

This provision applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law and is subject to the separate Refund Policy displayed on the website. Refund and return conditions should be stated clearly, including deadlines, return-shipping responsibility, and any restocking fees.

8. Software Installation and System Requirements

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible computer, operating system, storage capacity, network connection, drivers, security settings, and diagnostic hardware.

Antivirus software, firewalls, Windows security settings, virtualization, administrator permissions, driver conflicts, prior installations, and third-party programs may affect installation or operation.

DST does not guarantee that software will function on unsupported, modified, damaged, infected, obsolete, or improperly configured systems.

You should back up important files and create an appropriate system restore or recovery plan before installation.

9. Diagnostic, Programming, Coding, and Flashing Risks

Automotive diagnostics, coding, programming, calibration, flashing, cloning, bench work, boot-mode access, and module replacement involve inherent risks.

Possible outcomes include:

  • Loss of communication with a control module
  • Corruption or loss of data
  • A no-start condition
  • Module immobilization or failure
  • Vehicle malfunction
  • Diagnostic faults
  • Battery discharge
  • Loss of coding, adaptations, keys, or configuration
  • Damage caused by unstable voltage, incorrect wiring, unsupported procedures, or interrupted communication
  • Vehicle warranty, emissions, legal, or regulatory consequences

You assume responsibility for verifying connections, maintaining stable voltage, preserving original backups, following tool instructions, and using qualified personnel.

DST is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect use, improper wiring, unsupported operations, unstable power, unauthorized modifications, failure to create backups, or disregard of instructions.

10. Bench and Electrical Safety

Before connecting an ECU, TCU, module, interface, bench harness, breakout cable, or programming tool, you must verify all wiring and operating requirements using reliable, authorized technical information.

Never assume that wire color, connector shape, pin numbering, voltage, polarity, CAN assignment, ignition supply, boot point, GPT connection, or ground location is universal.

You are responsible for using:

  • A regulated power supply
  • Appropriate voltage and current limits
  • Proper fuse protection
  • ESD precautions
  • Correct connector orientation
  • Verified wiring information
  • Suitable grounding and workshop procedures

Improper bench connections can permanently damage equipment and modules.

11. Lawful Use

Products may be used only for lawful diagnostic, repair, maintenance, programming, research, or authorized motorsport purposes.

You may not use DST products to:

  • Access a vehicle or module without authorization
  • Circumvent immobilizers, keys, security systems, or anti-theft protections unlawfully
  • Alter mileage or vehicle identity unlawfully
  • Defeat emissions or safety systems in violation of applicable law
  • Copy or distribute protected vehicle software without authorization
  • Commit fraud, theft, unauthorized surveillance, or computer misuse
  • Violate intellectual-property or contractual rights
  • Perform any activity prohibited by law

You are solely responsible for understanding the laws and regulations applicable to your location and intended use.

12. Emissions and Off-Road Use

Certain products, modifications, software functions, or calibrations may affect vehicle emissions or compliance.

Unless expressly certified for public-road use, products affecting emissions systems are intended only for lawful competition, research, export, or off-road use where permitted.

You are responsible for determining whether a product or operation is legal for your vehicle and jurisdiction.

13. Remote Support

Remote support may require third-party software such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar services.

By requesting remote support, you authorize DST personnel or contractors to access the computer and information necessary to perform the requested service.

You are responsible for:

  • Remaining present during the session
  • Closing unrelated personal or confidential materials
  • Maintaining backups
  • Confirming the requested actions
  • Disconnecting remote access after completion
  • Protecting passwords and access credentials

Remote support does not guarantee resolution of every issue and may require additional hardware, software, repair, or paid services.

14. Shipping and Delivery

Physical products are subject to the separate Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. DST is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, incorrect addresses, government action, labor disruptions, or events outside our reasonable control.

Risk of loss and responsibility for import duties, brokerage fees, taxes, and customs compliance are governed by the applicable shipping terms and law.

15. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy published on the website.

Products must meet all stated eligibility requirements. Hardware returned damaged, altered, installed, programmed, missing components, or without original packaging may be refused or subject to deductions where legally permitted.

Software, licenses, activated products, custom services, completed remote support, and accessed downloads may be non-refundable as described in the Refund Policy.

16. Warranty

Any product-specific warranty will be stated in the relevant product description or separate written warranty.

Unless required by law or expressly stated in writing, products and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, compatibility, or error-free performance.

Third-party products may be covered only by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

17. Technical Support

Technical support is limited to the scope stated with the purchased product or service.

Support does not include unlimited training, vehicle repair, electrical diagnosis, third-party software repair, computer repair, data recovery, custom programming, or services not included with the purchase.

We may require proof of purchase, order information, vehicle details, screenshots, logs, hardware information, and remote-access availability before providing support.

18. Intellectual Property

The website and its content—including text, software, code, graphics, logos, branding, interfaces, product descriptions, downloads, documents, videos, designs, databases, and original technical materials—are owned by or licensed to DST and protected by intellectual-property laws.

No rights are granted except the limited rights expressly provided in these Terms.

Vehicle manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, product names, and references belong to their respective owners. Their use is for identification and compatibility purposes and does not imply sponsorship, authorization, affiliation, or endorsement unless expressly stated.

19. User Content and Reviews

When you submit a review, image, message, testimonial, question, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and non-infringing.

You grant DST a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content for operating and promoting the business, subject to applicable privacy law.

Nothing in these Terms prohibits or penalizes an honest consumer review. Federal law restricts standardized contract provisions that threaten or punish customers for honest reviews.

20. Prohibited Website Activity

You may not:

  • Interfere with website security or operation
  • Introduce malware or malicious code
  • Scrape, crawl, copy, or extract protected content without permission
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, files, or databases
  • Use false information or impersonate another person
  • Abuse promotions, discounts, chargebacks, or support services
  • Use automated systems to overload the website
  • Circumvent purchasing, geographic, licensing, or access restrictions

21. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and all activity conducted through your account.

Notify DST promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that present security, fraud, legal, or policy concerns.

22. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party payment processors, delivery companies, software providers, download hosts, remote-access platforms, analytics services, and external websites.

DST does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, availability, security, content, or policies.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DST will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost revenue, loss of vehicle use, towing, storage, substitute transportation, module replacement, business interruption, or reputational harm.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DST’s total liability arising from a product, service, transaction, or these Terms will not exceed the amount actually paid to DST for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DST and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of a product or service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of law
  • Your infringement of third-party rights
  • Unauthorized vehicle access or modification
  • Incorrect installation, wiring, programming, or operation

25. Force Majeure

DST will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, severe weather, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, carrier disruptions, internet failures, cyberattacks, supplier shortages, governmental action, or utility outages.

26. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access, licenses, support, accounts, or orders when reasonably necessary because of fraud, non-payment, security concerns, unlawful conduct, license violations, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Any court proceeding permitted under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts serving the county in Texas where DST maintains its principal place of business, unless applicable law requires another venue.

28. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact DST and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

Optional arbitration provision for attorney review:

Any unresolved dispute may be submitted to binding individual arbitration under mutually agreed rules, except claims eligible for small-claims court or requests for injunctive relief concerning intellectual property or unauthorized access.

No arbitration provision should be published until reviewed for compliance with applicable federal and state law.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted with a revised “Last updated” date, unless applicable law requires additional notice.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

30. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, product descriptions, license terms, and any written service agreement, constitute the agreement between you and DST concerning the website and purchases.
